I created this logo for the joint UMass Dartmouth and Bristol Community College Theater Ensemble program. Part of a team of 7 for feedback and critiques on the logo design, we collectively decided to focus on two objects coming together or merging to represent the two schools collaboration.
Working from my teams feedback and from my own direction, the spotlight shape was refined and softened, and the face of the masks was abstracted to just the eyes in order to preserve a playful nod to the masks of comedy and tragedy.
